My Biography
Dr. Skop graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He received his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he completed his internship and residency training at the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Skop is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and nuclear cardiology and has a special interest in non-invasive imaging and echocardiography.

Dr Skop has been a GID send! He is the first cardiologist that has taken time to not only review my mom’s history but put a plan in place to address her issues to give her the best quality of life possible. He actually listened and heard us and adapted treatment based on my mom and her specific needs. I can’t say enough good things. He is the first Dr I have trusted with my mom’s care in decades. Dr. Skop takes excellent care of both me and my husband. He explains every thing in terms we understand, and listens and answers our questions. I passed my exam, my husband failed (LOL) but when treatments were discussed, we asked for certain testing first and he agreed and appreciated us advocating for ourselves.
